Crazy golf games might just be about putting a little ball into a little hole but they are very addictive and can be very good fun. This is certainly true for Super Putt Xtreme where the characters are all extremely well animated and great to play with.
Choose between a whole range of players including an alien, a bespectacled ginger-haired boy, a cowgirl and others all with their own signature celebrations and frustrations.
The courses are nicely varied, with water, hills, pipes and all the other usual crazy golf features you'd expect. One nice addition is the use of special powers that you collect by putting the ball through gift boxes.
These can include 'homing' aids, 'sneak peeks' and 'kick power' and all give the game an extra arcade feel. It would be nice if each player had their own strengths and weaknesses, though.
All the controls are simple to use and there are 72 holes in the full version with grass, desert, arctic and space courses. Super Putt Xtreme is a really fun golf game.
